With the long, cold spring we've had I'm wondering if summer will ever get here. Maybe that one warm Sunday we had WAS summer and we've gone right into fall! Regardless of what the weather is doing, there are some things you can always count on like the Lodi Farmer's Market.
This Friday, May 6th marks the 11th season of the Lodi Farmer's market and the second year at it's new location (next to Kolte's Lumber on Highway 113). I love a local farmer's markets and as I'm new to Lodi I can't wait to check it out. I've been told that it's a great one! Besides offering fresh vegetables, they also have fresh fruit, honey, flowers, crafts and the best buffalo meat around (that's what I've been told!). Having recently purchased a Bed & Breakfast in Lodi, I'm looking forward to buying the fresh produce the market has to offer for the breakfasts I make for my guests.
The farmer's market is held every Friday from 2:00 - 6:00 pm from May - October. Maybe I'll see you there!
